What an incredible time at the 2026 Route 66 Fun Run here in Kingman! From the moment the engines started revving, the streets were alive with an amazing lineup of classic and custom cars that drew crowds from near and far.
The variety of vendors brought something for everyone, the beer garden kept the good times flowing, and the live band had the whole town celebrating well into the evening. One of the most unforgettable moments was the lighting of the historic Hotel Beale sign, glowing bright for the first time in decades. It was truly something special and a powerful reminder of how far our community has come with the improvements of Downtown!
We’re seeing such exciting improvements in our town, and events like this show just how strong and vibrant Kingman is becoming. Already counting down to next year, can’t wait to see everyone there again! 🙌

If you’re looking for an awesome outdoor adventure right here in Kingman, 🧗♂️ rock climbing at Camp Beale Springs is where it’s at!
The Beale Springs Wall is a north-facing vertical 40-foot rock wall that stays shaded all afternoon, which is perfect for keeping cool. The rock quality is some of the best in this part of Arizona, making every climb feel solid and fun.
There are 22 bolted (100% glued-in) sport routes ranging from 5.7 to 5.10d, so whether you’re newer to climbing or looking to push your limits, there’s something for you. All anchors are equipped with captive eye stainless steel carabiners, and every route can be top roped, which makes it a great spot to climb with friends of all skill levels.
Getting There:
From Downtown Kingman (Hwy 93 / Beale St), take Fort Beale Drive north, then turn left onto Wagon Trail Rd about 1 mile up and park at the Camp Beale Springs parking. Walk through the main gate and hike west along the powerlines for about 1/4 mile until you reach the utility access gate which can be opened as well.
