This week, we welcome @haftmusik to the Explorations family.
The Iranian duo of Amir and Sam, aka HAFT, have been making a name for themselves in the progressive house scene. A prolific pair, in the last six months alone, they’ve released music on @balance_series , @uv_musicofc , @themangoalley and rising Spanish imprint @univackrecords , all the while earning support from some of the biggest names in the genre.
Their upcoming two-tracker ‘Distant Blue / Visions Of Paradise’ has already found a fan in @jamesanjunadeep , who debuted the A-side on recent mixed compilation ‘Movement Vol. 5’. Head to the link in our bio to pre-save the release before it’s out on Wednesday.

Finally my Violeta EP is out on @explorationslabel 🎶
Transmutation is the idea that surrounds the track ‘Violeta’ which I consider the B-side of ‘Ametista’ - my first release on the label.
This scene represents the vision I had while listening to the music - precisely the strings section 🎻- during the creative process. I imagined flowers blooming from inside the Amethyst geode.
I hope you enjoy the final result of the EP. 🦉🌸

Some of my most personal tracks have been shaped by places.
‘In The Wild’ began in Ibiza and later found its meaning at a jungle rave in Koh Phangan, where I met Meliha.
‘Headspace’ followed during my first time living in Bali in 2018, inspired by the beauty and chaos of the island.
‘That Place’ feels like a postcard from those moments and places. Where everything feels a little more free.
