In their 1st performance oof 2022 the musicians and artists form Exploded Ensemble and Activated Anamorphs present an interactive audiovisual experience ooo Twitch.tv where the audience has the power to transform sound, video, and structure throughout the experience. Original pieces will explore the concepts of infinite variation and mutation.
Note: audience will need to register for a free Twitch account to be able to interact with the performance via the chat. No account is required for simply viewing the concert.
We are taking over the CFA!
This is going to be an evening-length explorable art and music experience that interacts with the unique architectural and design elements of the CFA Great Hall
Combining ideas of ecological musicking, site-specific sonic creation, animation, electronic logic, and interactive systems, the event will present student projects that reflect and meditate on what it means to be an organism responding to its own immediate surroundings.
Doors open at 7pm, this 3-hour explorable art event will feature live performances by the Exploded Ensemble and the Tartan Tuba band surrounding audience members in an immersive environment, articulated by projection design and other interactive artifacts.

Featuring live experimental electroacoustic music created and performed by the artists of Carnegie Mellon.
Admission is free but you must reserve a ticket online
Audience members are required to attest that they are either fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or have received a negative COVID-19 test within 72 hours of the event. Attendees must also wear a facial covering at the event.
The event will begin at the Peace Garden between the Hall of Arts and Hunt Library, then progress towards the Media Lab.
