Aaaaaaaannnnnnnddddd, we made it. After almost 20hrs on the road and a few issues we made it to @wookiesinthewoods . Had a belt tensioner decide to leave the chat an hour before we got to the cabin, vwthings lol. Excited to run the dragon again today when it's not raining. More pictures and videos to come.
@wookiesinthewoods prep is COMPLETE! In less than 6 hours we will be making the 12 hour trip down to WITW and spending the weekend with the best group of friends anyone could ask for!
I'm so so so proud of this group, I cannot even begin to explain how heartwarming it's been to have a true fast and furious style family over these past few weeks. Knocking out project after project to ensure everyone could make it down with their car and that we got the R32 on the road in time. Late night garage hangs with sometimes questionable music choices 🤣 I can't even begin to express how thankful I am of everyone and the work they put in to ensure this is the best trip it can be.
From a full trans teardown and swap on @ladypheonix11 R32, doing crack pipes on BOTH @hboston51 VR6 Jetta and the R32, to brakes on the TNT R, R32, and @just.another.subi STI, and even a swaybar install on @thatkc_mk8 MK8R. It has been a BUSY past few weeks, but I wouldn't have it any other way.

The gang is all read for @wookiesinthewoods . It's been a long month and a half getting these beauties ready.@expl0sive_r 's golf R was the parts runner since its generally in tip top shape @ladypheonix11 's R32 got a new trans, crackpipe, and a tune up, @just.another.subi did brakes and coilovers, @thatkc_mk8 added a sweet @integrated_engineering sway bar, and finally The Gli got a crackpipe, intake and valve cover gaskets, and the hardest thing was the passenger side axle, shout out to Raxles for the quick turnaround and the awesome customer service. Looking forward to the trip.

Absolutely MASSIVE shout-out to @elitepdrkc for their work today. I called multiple PDR places trying to get an appointment prior to the PPF install next week, but with all the storms and hail recently everyone was booked out weeks. I reached-out to @elitepdrkc assuming I'd get the same response but to my surprise they told me to bring it by TODAY and they'd get it knocked-out ASAP. Two hours later, I couldn't even tell you where the dents were anymore... Absolute magic, and a magical group of people to match! Seriously cannot recommend and thank them enough 🖤🖤🖤
Finally got some seat time with @scoob.stz and the new @vorshlag_motorsports@motioncontrolsuspension setup. Gotta say I'm really disappointed.... THAT I DIDN'T DO THIS SOONER 🤣
This new setup has completely changed how the car reacts to every form of input. The understeer-heavy VW feeling is nearly non-existent. Mid-corner throttle inputs actually feel like an AWD car now, instead of FWD torque steering into oblivion. Super excited to get it on track this Tuesday and put down some laps!
