This model was released last year and it has many new features. The Hawk+ is seven feet in length and sits between the standard Hawk and Grandby flatbed. Giving it a larger dinette area and tons of storage. Starting with the exterior, I chose a metallic charcoal finish. It also has the new exterior light options which are the Baja Designs flood lights and a yellow Baja Designs porch light. Also includes exterior power plugs with USB/USB-C, AC 120V, and a Starlink port. Another great feature is the new outside access door into the huge interior storage. Which is also accessible from the dinette seat. Standard with a 40 gallon fresh water tank and 5 gallon gray tank. When I chose the interior colors, I wanted a cozy soft/warm tone. I went with the Heritage Leaf fabric, grey cabinets, and bamboo countertops. The mattress is set up in short queen mode but can be extended to king size as well. Total interior divided storage, I counted sixteen! This also has the huge underbed storage. One of them you might’ve noticed. I added a microwave in the outside access door. Countless times being on the road, I just wanted to warm up a quick snack. This was a perfect placement without having to jump into the camper. @expion360 GC2 162AH lithium batteries. Housed in front of the camper, tucked away nicely side by side. A great position for weight distribution. The reason for all this power is due to the new dual induction cooktop (which can be removed and used outdoors),
@nomadic.innovations X2 Helix AC, 130L fridge, Truma heated furnace, Aqua Go water heater with heated outside shower, and two 2000W inverters. Controlling all of this with the
@redarc_electronics Alpha 75 and a Rogue RedVision system. The roof houses 500W solar panels. My first test was running the AC on full blast and had it on for seven hours straight. The
@expion360 batteries was still at 85%. Insanely impressive! Next test will be in 100+ degrees in Death Valley and I’ll see how it’ll hold up. Overall I’m ready for future extended adventures!
