Corfu has that timeless Greek island charm, while Albania feels a little more undiscovered, scenic, and brilliant value too. The ferry takes only 30 minutes so it's a great way to explore two countries without losing much time on logistics.
Why include Berat
Berat is one of my favourite places to include in Albania. Known as the “City of a Thousand Windows,” it’s full of character, with beautiful Ottoman architecture, UNESCO recognition, and a hilltop castle with incredible views.

In Corfu, I’d always recommend time in the Old Town, lazy beach days, boat trips, and long lunches by the water. In Albania, there’s the beautiful coastline around Saranda and Ksamil, plus the charm and history of Berat. The contrast between the two destinations is what makes this trip feel so memorable.
