People often say my life is a dream, that it can’t be real… and they’re right, I feel like I’m dreaming honestly… 🤠
Sometimes I look back at what my life as become, and it’s funny to think how lost I was, how a camera and one of my best friends showed me the way, and now, I’m living a dream with them! 🤝🏼
The journey is the beauty of it all, no matter how lost you are, just take that leap of faith and do what makes your heart beat faster, what makes you come alive, take the risk, be comfortable in being uncomfortable, and it’ll all make sense one day 🫡
I’m lucky enough to see and document the life of one of my best friends, who happens to be one of the best surfers in the world, but above all, an everyday inspiration and someone I’ll forever look up and be grateful to! 🥷

A year of ups and downs, emotions running high, and a lot of work… just what the doctor ordered.
It’s funny how moments that once felt like the end of the world become the ones you’re most grateful for. They teach you, shape you, and prepare you to handle whatever comes next. I often find myself replaying those moments more than the easy, happy ones, maybe because growth, in the end, is its own kind of happiness.
Nothing crazy happened this year. No huge wins, no big headlines. But somehow, I’m ending it feeling better than I ever have.
It’s called growth I guess 🤠🤷🏽♂️
If 2026 feels like this a year from now, I’ll be more than happy! ✌🏼
Found some waves from a session a couple of years ago, buried deep in the hard drives, so I thought I’d edit a quick one today.
𝗙𝘂𝗻 𝗳𝗮𝗰𝘁 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗽: in good old @kanoaigarashi fashion, I was told to jump on a plane just a few hours before the flight, not the same day… but flying out at 7am is basically the same thing 😂
Truth is, unplanned trips end up being the best ones 🤠
Woke up a 30 year old today 🎂🎉
Always thought 30 would hit hard, but I still feel young, so who cares.
Grateful for the life I live, the people around me, and the fact that I truly love what I do.
Having fun is the name of the game, happiness is the goal, and I might be getting older, but damn, I’m happy.

My favorite wave from one of my all-time favorite contests 🤩
This was an 8.67 in a Round of 16 heat where Kanoa apparently “didn’t stand a chance”...
It’s funny how things go, how confidence shifts, how quickly people forget. I’m just glad he’s here to remind them he’s still one of the best in the world.
I’m often over-critical, especially of his surfing, not because I doubt him, but because I know how good he can be.
Like I’ve said before, he’s a future world champ.
But I remember filming this wave and thinking: something’s different. He’s back on track. I just need to relax and enjoy it.
Let’s keep it rolling, relaxed, focused, and enjoying this incredible journey.
I’ll be here with my camera to make sure the story gets told beyond just my eyes.
