Antelope (Upper) Canyon is one of the most beautiful places Iโve ever been. Located in the Navajo nation in the desert of Arizona. Absolutely stunning.
I had an amazing time bringing this short film to life after a crazy short amount of time in prep. My first rom com, with the stunning Matthew Hegarty and Ree Coler-Williams, my first time shooting with Canon CN-E primes (beautiful) and my first time trying out the Fiilex Q6 lights (also beautiful and worked seamlessly alongside my LitePanels).

Having spent a lot of jobs recently shooting on my own it was so lovely to have a crew again, so I must give a shout out to 1st AC Pete Nance (and his Mary Poppins van), 2nd AC Bella Peterson, Camera Trainee Nathan Grove and Gaffer Thomas Maher. Also special love to Director Beth Rowland for bringing me on!

Iโve also got to thank both Canon & @sunbeltrentalsukifilmtv for lending us the kit and for the location, Bean There Coffee Shop, not only for catering but for making us fresh coffees throughout the night that kept us going!
I was going to break my tradition of keeping to 9 but ended up with 9 anyway! Anyway, 2025 involved a lot (like a lot) of running, dancing and looking after my babies. I did also shoot donโt worry. ๐ฅ Hoping 2026 brings a lot of healing, more work for my beloved filmmaking community, and continuing to see my children thrive. Sending love and light to you all, Happy New Year ๐
I did a thing with @expandedframe ... It's nearly ready to go!! ๐

[Image Description: the intake of breath, hands at the ready and bringing in the focus to start play a harp at the beginning of four different videos in a short compilation. The words "Ready?" "Steady?" appear near the top of the frame and then finishes on the AlleyBY Harpist logo.
The harp is about to be played by a caucasian early-40s woman with short, brown hair. She wears a different dress each time. The first three are in a room with a teal/blue wall, a natural-wood, full-sized concert harp and the fourth is outside surrounded by grass, trees and bushes, with a smaller Celtic harp. The logo is a teal/dark green outline, this time against a black background]
Very excited to have received my first ever Wheels. Iโm already obsessed with making the perfect square in Photoshop ๐
Many thanks to @uk_screenskills for the bursary and to @rexywheels for the great communication- and the hat!
