EXIT VOID emerged from a collaborative project for a video installation soundtrack. It evolved into a regular formation that uses electronic and acoustic instruments equally. The collective is made up of six distinct Austrian artistic voices: Anja Plaschg (Soap&Skin), Manfred Engelmayr, Katrin Euller, Alex Kranabetter, Wolfgang Lehmann, and David Reumüller.
They are performing on Thursday, 23.4.2026 at the Volksbühne Berlin main stage, joined by Berlin-based ambient composer KMRU.
No stranger to Digital in Berlin audiences, sound artist KMRU works across field recording, composition, installation, and performance. His work explores augmented listening practices, ecologies, and sonic memory, moving beyond conventional auditory frameworks.

we @exit.void avoided the logic of calling our first single ‘w@r ’ even though that’s exactly what this is orbiting.
every day, we are forced to witness the world being dragged deeper into crisis and savagery by a handful of sick, power-obsessed patriarchs tightening their grip.
I often feel like we’re being systematically overwhelmed and disillusioned- so that we lose the energy for anger, uprising and revolt.
let it end. it is relieving, for a moment.
maybe it is for you, too.
‘Void of Escape” and ‘Residual Bread’ are out now on every streaming platform.

we celebrate our single drop
could you join the revel
our song of peace
could you press your eager ear against us
come, take a seat within the watching
could you shout with us, help carry it
as if together, fog lights split it
as if forever, we admit it
our song of peace
against those who trade in death
and call it order
only teeth where there was voice
pimps of ruin
could we gather our anger
scream together
down to the last corner of their guilt
