Fact about me: I dislike menthol so much, I am importing a very specific toothpaste from Germany which does not contain menthol and doesn't have a particular taste (people say it's disgusting but I think it's totally fine). In a pinch I buy kids toothpaste, with strawberry or whatever flavor just to avoid the taste of mint. 🍓🪥

Fact about me: I'm often have phases where I like some type of music more than the other and in 2025 I went to a concert of Animals as Leaders (and ended up in the moshpit) so it has been all kinds of metalcore, djent, post-hardcore and prog metal for me this year.

Fact about me: As a nerd I've never been much of a jock or acting particularly manly (being terrible at sports didn't help). And I think the older I get the less I care about how "men" should be. I do sports which are predominantly practiced by women and enjoy them, finding my own niche within it. I don't care about fancy cars (or cars in the first place), watching sports on TV (or TV in the first place). I enjoy watching Pop Culture Detective to learn about toxic tropes. Does this make me a performative male? Dunno. But I think the Danish ideal of how men should act is much closer to my own ideas than for example Poland.

Fact about me: I can easily get nerd-sniped to figure out how things work. Yesterday I got a guitar pedal that is draining its batteries really quick so I learned a ton about measuring current, rechargeable 9V batteries and other stuff. No wonder I go to sleep at 2am.

Fact about me: I've never been a sporty person. In school I would be one of the last picked into sports teams, was one of the last people in my class to learn to swim. I only reluctantly learned to ski. Running really doesn't jive with me. However since then I've become quite fond of cycling, picked up aerial hoop in 2021, aerial silk in 2025 and these days I've also been enjoying acroyoga 🤸

Fact about me: I have a single-track cargo bike (Bullitt) and sometimes transport people around in it. It turns out the most comfortable way is for people to face backwards which is a bit odd but on the other hand it is rather fun to cycle and chat at the same time. It's feels a bit like these taxi interviews, except without cars, emissions, taking up space and ruining the environment.

Fact about me: I am very much a coffee hipster, with a nice home brewing setup, pretty cups and the like. Also going to coffee festivals. Which is funny given that before I moved to Copenhagen I didn't even like coffee, but I had a great Aeropress coffee at the old location of @coffeecollectif in Jægersborggade and that changed how I see coffee.
