St Brandon's combines the best of an ancient church building with an elegant modern reordering, including all the facilities that go along with that. There has been a church here since Saxon times. while most of the present building dates from 1075. Within the church there is also the most important collection of medieval cross slabs (carved stones formerly used to cover graves) in northern England. The setting of the church, alongside the impressive Brancepeth Castle, is perfect.

The Tyne Bridge (and Quayside) - Newcastle.
One of seven road bridges crossing the River Tyne, the Grade II* listed bridge was officially opened on 10 October 1928 by King George V and has since become a defining symbol of the North East.
