Hacienda Grimon Sauvignon Blanc
Hacienda Grimon is based at the foot of the Monte Grimón mountain range in the village of Ventas Blancas, 15 minutes from the Rioja provincial capital of Logroño.
The current bodega was constructed in 1999 over the grandparent's old family house and their first vintage of the Grimón wines was in 2002. Owned and run by the Olivan family, this 25-hectare bodega lies in the secluded Valle de Jubera.
Viticulture is organic with no use of herbicides and pesticides and hand harvesting is employed in all the vineyards. Great care is taken to provide the healthiest grapes of the highest quality, as nearly all the wines will experience extended ageing. In addition, all Grimon`s wines are made from their own grapes, a rarity in La Rioja.
This 100% Sauvignon Blanc is aged in old 225-litre barrels following fermentation for a short period before bottling, giving up a floral and aromatic white which pairs particularly well with shellfish dishes.
👀A light straw yellow in colour with pale green flecks.
👃Scents of citrus fruits, melon and pineapple.
👅On the palate the acidity is balanced with a pronounced minerality leading to a clean and lingering finish.
Great with gazpacho, grilled tuna or an artichoke, blood orange and feta cheese salad.

Avalowa - Cornish full juice, sparkling, wild fermented dry cider, no added sulphites, barrel aged, 6.7% abv
A delicious natural cider made from 70% Sweet Alford and a 30% blend of Browns, Hocking’s Green, Lord of the Isles and Cats Head. Fermented and aged for 8 months in oak barrels.
This cider is full juice, made from 100% apples, handpicked from unsprayed orchards in a small valley of the Fowey Estuary in Cornwall. It is fermented with the wild, naturally occurring yeast found on the apple skins, with no added sulphites.
Vibrant and refreshing with a crisp minerality. We get notes of honeydew melon and grapefruit, finished with a delicate hint of vanilla from oak ageing. Bright and lively, bursting with yuzu-like citrus and sherbet notes. A mouth-watering zesty cider, underpinned by a grippy slate minerality. Pairs beautifully with salty, savoury dishes- especially oily fish, shellfish, quiche, risotto, or cheese. Particularly good with sharp cheddar or goat’s cheese.

World Moscato Day is celebrated every year on May 9. It honors Moscato (Muscat) wines, known for their sweet, fruity, and floral flavours.
Moscato is made from one of the oldest grape families in the world: the Muscat grape family, which has been cultivated for thousands of years. “Moscato” is the Italian word for Muscat.
Most wines are slightly sweet, low in alcohol, and highly aromatic.
Common tasting notes include peach, apricot, orange blossom, honey, pear, and citrus.
Moscato d'Asti from Italy’s Piedmont region is one of the most famous styles.
Moscato often has light bubbles (“frizzante”), though fully sparkling and still versions also exist.
Moscato usually has a lower alcohol content — often around 5–7% ABV.
Moscato is best served chilled, usually around 6–8°C (43–46°F).
Drink joyously anytime of the day!
Try one of our Moscato's:

Bepi Tosolini, I Legni Rovere Oak Grappa
Part of Tosolini’s I Legni (“the woods”) collection, this grappa is aged in small Rovere (Italian oak) barrels, giving additional depth, softness and complexity.
Bepi Tosolini, based in Friuli, is known for elevating grappa through slow distillation and careful wood management, creating spirits of elegance rather than harshness.
This barrique-aged expression captures that philosophy - a refined, contemplative grappa ideal as a digestivo, enjoyed neat or slightly warmed to release its aromatic richness.
Bepi Tosolini I Legni Rovere Oak Grappa is rich and gently spiced.
It opens with aromas of vanilla, toasted oak and dried fruit, followed by hints of caramel, almond and a touch of sweet spice.
The palate is smooth and rounded, showing flavours of honey, apricot and soft spice wrapped in a warm, silky texture.
Its deep golden colour reflects time spent maturing in oak barriques, while the finish is long, mellow and beautifully integrated.
