We invite you to revisit the highlights with us in the next weeks: Follow us for recaps, key figures and the latest trends in the energy sector! 😉
Helau It's a wrap! 🎬
The three days of #Eworld26 full of innovative ideas, meaningful conversations and exciting discussions are comming to an end.
We hope you made valuable connections that go beyond the trade fair whether for future partnerships or your next career step. Stay in touch with your new contacts via the Community
With that we wish you a great carnival season! 🥳
Some people say E-world is the class reunion of the energy industry 🎓
And honestly, we feel like that’s a fitting analogy.
Every year, a wide range of personalities come together and - just like back in school - there are certainly a few “types” you can recognize among them.
So, just for fun, we collected a few character archetypes we keep running into.
Which one fits you best?
Or are you a mix of several?
Did we miss one?

Imagine planning your workday around the next power outage🔌
In Madagascar, this is reality for the majority of the population. Only 36% have access to electricity at all.
And yet the potential is undeniable. As an island nation close to the equator, Madagascar receives strong, reliable sunshine year-round and for the first time, large-scale projects are turning that into actual power.
Groupe filatex and DERA Energy are installing 50 MW of new solar capacity across Mahajanga, Toliara, Antsiranana, and Toamasina. Rather than replacing existing infrastructure, the project pairs solar with thermal power plants in a hybrid model built for stability. For regions the grid has never reached, mobile solar systems will go directly to where electricity is needed most.
This year, Madagascar made its E-world debut. And this is a reminder of a shift we're seeing more and more: countries that were long on the sidelines of the global energy conversation are now writing their own chapter.
Which country is surprising you most when it comes to energy transformation right now?

Going with the flow? In Nepal, that’s a high-tech strategy 💧
What sounds like a philosophical approach is actually a masterclass in engineering. Nepal is currently turning its natural water "flow" into the backbone of its energy transition, adapting to one of the world’s most challenging terrains including a landscape of steep valleys and seasonal extremes.
Right now the country is building the Tanahu Hydropower Project, which is set to become one of Nepal's most important power plants - combining 140 MW capacity with storage facilities designed for maximum flexibility. It's targeted for completion by 2028.
For the first time, we welcomed visitors from Nepal at E-world 2026 this year, marking the event’s growing international reach and spotlighting one of the most unique and exciting energy markets.
Which energy markets should we put in the spotlight next?
"Wo fange ich an?" 🙈

Great news to mark the Renewable Energy Day!
Although the skyrocketing is caused by an unpleasant occasion, it shows a sigh of relief for various providers: @tagesschau reports on a solar provider that sold 50,000 solar panels in just a single week and the CEO of @eon_deutschland also notes that demand has nearly doubled compared to last month.
Whether you are selling or consulting renewable options - we are curious: Are you also experiencing a noticeable spike right now? 👇
Today is Girls’ Day! 🛠️
A day dedicated to exploring careers that are still often male-dominated - a reality that sadly also applies to many roles within the energy industry.
But the future of energy needs diverse perspectives and more #womenpower. Initiatives like Girls’ Day can help inspiring the next generation of women to shape the energy sector.
At E-world, we are proud to support spaces for exchange and visibility - from discussions on our stages to networking events hosted by partners like @pwc_de and @amprion . This video captures some of those moments.
