Patriarchal fascism is real. And creating music as resistance is what we want to do as a punk band in a third world country‼️
Resistance In Existance is a fundraiser compilation co-released by @plasticwoundrecords and @cebollasrecords in collaboration with @trannarchy.project 🏳️⚧️ It features queer/ally punk bands across the globe with Exit Wound being the sole band from South Asia. Our songs "Molotov, Love" and "Guess My Sex" from our two-track demo "EW!" weave into the compilation.
All proceeds go to Trans Initiative Kakuma who are boldly existing against all odds, in the face of anti-trans hate and patriarchal fascism. They’re actively supporting trans persons in Kenya facing persecution, discrimination, and threats.

-we wrote new songs
-featured in a queer/ally compilation with punk/hardcore bands from around the world
-got new listeners from places we didn’t think our music would reach
-played a bunch of shows
-got noticed by alt media that actually cares
-made a zine nobody asked for
-made new friends
-accidentally started a controversy
-and our drummer heroically broke their knee 🥲
