One of the most hopeful things you can do is look at flowering trees, just as they bud at the start of spring. Even more special with my little flower. 🌺 and we even saw a real life fairy 🧚🏼 at the Japanese garden 🧚🏼

I’ve been in the fair city of Boston a good amount these last months- and here’s the reason why! Hawksmoor will open in Fort Point in Boston this fall. Set right on the Fort Point channel, the 200 seat restaurant has a nice big bar, better to serve coldest martinis from, and a great terrace on the water. Bold and best quality cuts of steak, and proper Sunday roasts are headed to the Hub. Tell ya friends!

Signs of spring. Poutine, the juvenile anchovies that are only permitted to be collected for the first few weeks of spring in France, a true delicacy sits (swims?) next to caviar. For the 20th year of Michelin three star @restaurantmirazur , Chef Mauro Colagreco and Julia Colagreco invited Ferran Adrià to analyze the history of the restaurant, and to develop his own interpretations of the moments over the years. Mirazur, which was named #1 restaurant in the world in 2019 by @theworlds50best , does not have signature dishes- once a guest has tasted a dish at Mirazur, they will never be served it again. The result of this collaboration is a residency for six weeks only, April 1st- May 16th. Get there if you can… 😎 Perched above a dazzling sea, set among lush gardens of the Alpes Maritimes, where mountains sit right at the seas edge, Mirazur reflects artistry and harmony in nature. I’m proud to work with the Colagrecos and their team, as they expand their gardens, the farms and education centers in and around Menton, going deeper into their natural world. Mirazur is the first Michelin three star B Corp restaurant and Mauro Colagreco is the @unesco Goodwill Ambassador for Biodiversity. There will be more projects in France, in the Americas and around the world to share, soon. 🫛 🌱

It was a delight to have Stephanie and Eduard from @gutoggau in New York City this past weekend. We had a buzzing wine takeover @pdfbk , and the next day held an in depth tasting and talk at L’Escala, the private dining apartment upstairs from PDF. Capping it off was a fun house party wine dinner at ours, with a true feast (what else?) by @sachsmo . Surrounded by good friends, food and wine. ❤️🍷

It was a joyful raucous NYE this year, everyone seemed to bring the energy, and the appetites! We had all the roast duck, cotechino and lentils, a Gilda tree, ice cold martini bar outside on the freezing deck, hot spicy broth on the stove, smoked whole fishes, fougasse, all the dips and cheeses for abundance and joy. We feel so loved by our friends, in our Brooklyn home, and once a year we want to celebrate them, and feel thankful. Here’s to strength, connection and humor in 2026. Happy New Year!

Pro tip- never ever leave Brooklyn in October or November. Today alone was the perfect farmers market, a food rescue with @cityharvestnyc , getting to meet @officialspikelee who likes my “knicks blue” sweater (coincidence), and now it’s @saintjamesjoy dance party on our block. Greatest place in the world. #spreadlove

Fall weekend nights, with the doors wide open, and good friends all around. Freshest uni, best butter and baguette, fine caviar hand carried from Iran, wildly good uni pasta. Fleeting fall!

Big news, Fort Greene! Starting today, @laurelbakerynyc is popping up at @margotbrooklyn with a brand-new outpost. Slow and steady is kind of our thing, so we’re starting with limited hours — Wednesday–Friday, 8am–2pm — and will be expanding soon. Expect all our favorite pastries and breads, plus coffee and tea to start your day right. We’re especially happy to be here in Fort Greene, just down the street from our sister @pdfbk in Clinton Hill. Come say hi and help us kick things off in the neighborhood!
