January.
The month of resolutions filled with diets and vision board parties fueled by the intention of radical life change
Recently I listened to a Mel Robbin’s podcast episode “How to Make 2026 the Best Year: 6 Questions to Ask Yourself”
The episode was about how before creating your vision board or writing down your resolutions you need to do a REAL assessment of the previous year
When I heard this, the lightbulb went off đź’ˇ
How are you supposed to have a clear direction of where to go if you don’t know your starting point?
I highly encourage you to listen to the podcast episode but in the meantime, here are some reflection questions you can think about to get a realistic understanding of your baseline for 2026:
1. What did I say I wanted in 2025, and what did my daily actions actually support?
2. Where did I grow because I chose discomfort… and where did I stay comfortable and call it “timing”?
3. What patterns repeated themselves this year—emotionally, financially, relationally, or in my habits?
4. What worked in 2025 that I’m tempted to overlook because I’m focused on what didn’t?
5. If 2025 was honest feedback, not a failure, what was it trying to teach me about myself?
Be honest! You have to assess before you can manifest đź’«
