You can feel a renewed energy in Prahran and that shiny new park around the corner has everything to do with it
So as we move forward to embrace a collective future, Evolve and Campbell pause to pay humble homage to the past with the release of this OG Prahran ramp board
This image is an instant reminder of iconic Prahran vert ramp featuring the landmark 7 storey ‘Read’s’ department store building in the heart of Prahran - both of which are so dear to so many who have shared in their long rich histories
Countless hours were spent photographing the old park in the months leading up to its’ demise, posting regular collaborative photographic essays on ours and @visualsbycampbell ’s Instagram accounts
Campbell produced Prahran Skate Park 3181, a coffee table style book capturing the park’s details and unique character, as well as the people who inhabit it
Produced on premium American Pro 7 ply Canadian Rock Maple, these boards are available now in all sizes from 8.0 thru 8.75

Year of the Snake
I’ve always had love and mad respect for graffiti aesthetics and its’ illustrative and letter styles. This was a first attempt at a graffiti inspired character - a simple line drawing that I did back in the mid ‘90’s - and having never been used for anything, I now have a the perfect excuse
Making use of the various coloured wood stains on the bottom of our boards has given us some subtle pop coming through in the outlines and in our logo
Printed beautifully right here in Australia on the Evolve wood you know, this initial release comes in the following sizes, with a wider range in smaller and wider sizes coming soon:
