EVOLVE CONFERENCE 2025
This past weekend, our team came together for our annual Conference – a chance to connect, reflect, and look ahead.
With team members flying in from across the country, the event combined professional development with team-building activities and valuable insights into the future of our business.
- Workshops included training sessions, DISC profiling, and interactive team-building designed to strengthen how we collaborate and deliver.
- A highlight was our panel session featuring Luke Geelan, Ben Fairfax, and Ben McEvoy, sharing career insights and perspectives on leadership, growth, and opportunity.
- Our leadership team also provided a deep dive into the 5-year business strategy and the year ahead, giving every member of the team clarity and alignment for the journey forward.
Most importantly, the conference was a reminder that our greatest strength lies in our people. We departed energised, aligned, and ready to take on the next chapter together.
THE DETAILS | BALGOWLAH RSL
It’s in the details where this space truly comes to life.
From the newly created @Ettis , a layered and highly appointed palette of materials and finishes has been carefully curated to deliver depth, texture and warmth throughout.
Across the venue, every touchpoint has been considered, from the graphic marble stone and tiling at the bar, to the privacy screens between dining booths and the refined framing of each setting. Rolling wave joinery moves across the ceiling, creating flow and continuity, complemented by contemporary artwork and soft, ambient lighting within the lounge.
A cohesive expression of design and craftsmanship, brought together through close collaboration with @daccaarchitecture and styling by @lucia.b.creative .
THE SPACES | BALGOWLAH RSL
A collection of spaces, carefully considered and now brought to life.
The transformation of Balgowlah RSL’s ground floor introduces a series of connected environments, from a refined lounge and café to new TAB and smoking areas, all anchored beneath a striking operable glass roof that opens the venue to light, air and movement throughout the day.
An additional 86m² of floor area has allowed the team to reimagine how the club is experienced, creating flow between spaces while maintaining a sense of intimacy within each setting. The @evolveconstructions team delivered a considered balance of function, atmosphere and experience, now realised.
THE FACADE | BALGOWLAH RSL
The new face of Balgowlah RSL Memorial Club is complete.
Kicking off a week of project coverage, we’re starting with the façade, where more than 25 precast concrete panels were carefully lifted and installed to form a bold, layered identity that now defines the venue.
Designed by DACCA Architecture, each panel reveals a refined wood-textured finish, achieved through custom moulds, softening the material palette. Framed by deep-set glazing, warm-toned steel and natural stone, the façade delivers depth, rhythm and a strong sense of permanence to the street.
Delivered by Evolve, the venue presents a considered balance of structure and design now realised.
ANZAC DAY 2026 | LEST WE FORGET
Today, we pause to remember and honour all those who have served, the men and women who gave so much for something greater than themselves.
We’re grateful to stand alongside members of our own team who have served. The perspective they carry, resilience, quiet strength and calm under pressure, shapes how we show up every day.
To those who serve, and to those we’ve lost — thank you.
Your sacrifice is felt, remembered and deeply respected.
We remember. Always.
Lest We Forget.
PROUDLY BACKING LOCAL | Lilli Pilli FC ⚽
At Evolve, what we build extends beyond our projects.
This year, we’re proud to support grassroots football by sponsoring three teams at Lilli Pilli FC — Shire Premier League Women’s, Girls 15A’s and Boys 18A1’s.
From early development to elite pathways, these teams represent the future of the game, built on commitment, community, and a genuine love of sport. It’s a privilege to be part of that journey.
Because strong communities aren’t just constructed... they’re supported.
STRUCTURE TAKING SHAPE | DFO Jindalee
Structure is taking shape at DFO Jindalee, with lightweight steel framing now complete and roof trusses going in this week.
A fast-moving, well-sequenced programme has the team tracking toward roof-on by month’s end and lock-up shortly after, strong momentum as the build continues to rise.
PROJECT COMMENCED | CHANG3 House of Health, Surry Hills
Big energy. Real evolution.
Evolve is proud to be delivering the fitout of CHANG3 – House of Health’s first flagship wellness destination at Wunderlich Lane, Surry Hills, bringing to life a space set to redefine the modern gym experience.
This is more than a fitout. It’s the physical expression of strength, performance, recovery and community, designed to operate at volume and delivered with precision in a live, high-profile inner-city environment.
Backed by our experience in complex hospitality and wellness projects, this build demands disciplined sequencing, sharp stakeholder coordination and a relentless focus on detail.
We’re excited to partner with the CHANGE team to bring this flagship to life and set a new benchmark for wellness in Sydney.
Surry Hills, it’s coming.
MORNINGSIDE MOMENTUM | Morningside Central Progress
Momentum is building across our Morningside Central Shopping Centre redevelopment, with a major milestone delivered just ahead of the Easter break.
Through detailed planning and a highly coordinated team approach, the existing mall roof and columns, dating back to the late 90s, were successfully removed in a single night operation. Using a 150T crane and an 8-point lift, the 5T structure was carefully disconnected and lifted out in one complete piece.
Backed by strong stakeholder engagement, including council approvals, letterbox drops and local MP notifications, the works were originally planned across two nights but completed in one. A great outcome that minimised disruption and kept the programme moving.
Credit to the team for a well-planned, well-executed operation, another example of delivering with precision in a live environment.
PROJECT COMPLETION | Story House Early Learning Upper Coomera
Another project delivered in partnership with Home Co. Evolve is proud to have completed the new Story House Early Learning centre at Upper Coomera, our third project together.
This purpose-built, two-level childcare and preschool facility has been designed to support up to 132 children, delivering high-quality early learning environments within an active retail precinct. From new build through to fitout, the project has been carefully integrated to ensure a seamless outcome for both operators and the surrounding community.
Key upgrades to parking and site access have also been delivered, improving safety and traffic flow across the precinct, an important consideration in a live environment.
A great result for our client, project partners and the local community.
