🌱🌿🌻🌞🌜 𝒔𝒆𝒓𝒆𝒏𝒊𝒕𝒚 𝚗𝚘𝚞𝚗. 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚊𝚋𝚜𝚎𝚗𝚌𝚎 𝚘𝚏 𝚖𝚎𝚗𝚝𝚊𝚕 𝚜𝚝𝚛𝚎𝚜𝚜 𝚘𝚛 𝚊𝚗𝚡𝚒𝚎𝚝𝚢. • 🌹 • my favourite part of creating and curating beautiful spaces; is the calm in the atmosphere which seems to follow and fill the air which is often breathed in while in the embrace of lace which drapes around those in her hold… Something I think of often; is safety. The feeling it caries, the confidence it provides… what it means for your body and mind to truly feel… safe. The breath of release which accompanies this feeling, the way it inspires us to open up and share our innermost thoughts; and to hold those shared with us. The irony in my having taken on the roll of creating these spaces, and how it ultimately left me in a position where I could be objectified and lied to by those I’d valued and respected most… but that’s a tale for another time. For now we sit and contemplate; opening our souls in safety while our systems contemplate the creation of it all. While I’d hardly spent the time I’d hoped soaking in the essence of this space; come Monday, the dust began to settle and I was able to melt into the magic of the atmosphere. An alter was created, and within hours offerings began to gather. A yellow pillar candle, and clay leaf were left in memory of those thankful for the space; their faces unknown, though presence felt. Soon friends joined, and we decompressed from the high energies of the weekend behind us… sharing thoughts, wisdom, song, sorrows, growth and all. Such bliss to be found in the shade of the secret garden. Thankyou to @thenectarfestival for casting this magic from the realms and sharing it with us all ✨🌞🌙

• 🌛🪻🌜• a year of growth… of lessons learned; of loss, reflections and introspections. many seeds were cast, while others were gathered to be sewn in futures unknown. •🖤• What a wild, beautiful, blooming ride that was… Having set out to create something of beauty for all to enjoy… to plant a sense of welcome and safety for all who found themselves under her cover; a space where all felt safe to share their innermost selves, free of judgement. Something to inspire growth, vulnerability, and awe…. Watching the faces of all who passed through the garden light up in childlike wonder was something out of a dream for me. Of course, as with all things, especially those of beauty, tides change and seasons shift. • 🌙 • Sometimes, it matters not the work you put in, the fates that be decide what the harvest may be. •🥀• Though despite the beautiful moments bloomed, came the hardships, too. Soon secrets began to grow in the garden... even so, having shared my magic with so many, having been blessed with amazing artists, and magical memories…. It’s the reason we all do what we do… for the moments shared. •✨• I thank all who held space, planted seeds, and watered the garden with love - and tears - through this past year. •🌸• Know she will continued to bloom and grow in new ways, once the sun returns and hibernation releases us all from her cold clasp. •🌞•

🌛🖤🌜 • 𝔥𝔬𝔴 𝔡𝔬𝔢𝔰 𝔶𝔬𝔲𝔯 𝔤𝔞𝔯𝔡𝔢𝔫 𝔤𝔯𝔬𝔴? • • 🌱 • 🌿 • 🌹 • 🥀 • With the changing seasons brings darker days, times of reflections as the nights loom longer all around us… Changing winds bring seeds blowing in the breezes of new inspirations never dreamt possible in previous times… Though just as a moth or butterfly must first rest and test itself inside a chrysalis of its own desolation before it may emerge with new wings… So must a flower die so that its seed may be born, fall, and grow a new. A seed may not re-emerge until it has sat patiently in the dark… until its shell has cracked open, allowing new birth to burst so that it may slowly grow towards the light. No plant may grow without the rains which fall down all around it… No seed may fall into the soil which awaits it, unless the flower from which it stemmed has shriveled and died… at least for some time. No soil is fertilized without the death of that which came before it. No growth without growing pains… 🌱🌿🌹🥀 Despite the never ending hands of man’s kind who continually attempt to pick, pull, and stomp upon the weeds which grow around them…eradicating the life which grew long before their arrival… Even a rose can emerge from the cracks in the concrete laid down upon the land. •🥀• These moments were captured in the early days of my gardens growth, before I knew what these sweet germinated seeds might become. But with the changing seasons, comes new rains to this sweet little garden which I’ve been tending to… with the help of some sweet fellow garden faes, of course. A good garden takes time, dedication, love, and of course the right fertilizers. After all, no one wants a rotten garden, which may attract all sorts of rotten flowers, let alone other unwanted pests.
