This month Everything After the Ring celebrates its 9th birthday! It’s incredible to think about the journey over the years and how far we have come. I opened this business after I planned my own wedding and fell in love with all things weddings. I certainly didn’t imagine at the young age of 25 that we would be where we are at today: fully booked wedding planners and florists with a team of 6. I’m so incredibly proud of myself for stepping out of my comfort zone then to start something new. Proud I didn’t give up during the hard times. Proud of our team’s growth and most of all, so incredibly thankful. Thankful for the clients that believed in me. Thankful for my amazing support system at home and thankful for a team that makes it all happen.

Another successful Spring wedding season in the books and I figured it’s time for a new introduction 💕
My name is Ashleigh, owner + lead planner/florist of Everything After the Ring. I opened this little business over 8 years ago after planning my own wedding and fell in love with timelines, floor plans, proposals and more. I bought a book on Amazon on how to open my own business, thought of a catchy business name and attempted to design a website. A few sweet brides gave me a chance and I am forever grateful to them. I have learned so much along the way, and can’t wait for what the future holds.
I’ve been married for almost 9 years to the best man in the world. I am a mother to two blonde babes and they are my reason. I firmly believe being in your 30s are the best years of your life. I have an endless thirst to travel the world. I love to read, play card games and will be happy to talk politics all day long.
I’ll keep my soap box short, I think every wedding is a luxury. I love LOVE, and I’m so happy to be here 💕

I hear this on an almost daily basis. “I don’t know how you do it all”.
Well it’s not ‘all done’ by accident. It’s all done with intention. Prioritizing what’s important to me. Blocking time in my calendar. Building systems that work.
I’ve learned after being in business 9+ years that I can in fact run a successful business while also being a present mom/wife/friend and focus on my mental health.
I can do all of this because:
-I have a high functioning team 📋
-I have an involved partner in life 👩❤️👨
-I build in time for fun and hobbies ⛳️
-I surround myself with a supporting community and inspiring friends 👭
All so I can do what I love 💕
By no means does this imply that I have it all figured out. I still make mistakes. I still get burned out from time to time. Life is very demanding of us and we’re constantly being pulled in so many directions. But it doesn’t have to be overwhelming all the time. There is definitely a balance to find, and this is how I found mine 🫶🏻
