It’s a full-circle moment for Neil and John, founders of EveryStage. Having first worked together on the 2014 Glasgow Commonwealth Games, we are proud to announce that the 2026 Glasgow Commonwealth Games are partnering with EveryStage on a series of community engagement events in the lead-up to the Games, as part of the All In campaign.
The events aim to foster local pride, boost community involvement, and ensure the Games are accessible to all.
More exciting updates and announcements coming soon...
Welcome to EveryStage!
We believe events can be transformative both personally and professionally!
We’re here to support at every stage of your events journey, providing platforms to learn, grow and maximise opportunities.
At EveryStage, we do three things best:
🎓 School Programmes: partnering with high schools to deliver SQA qualifications and give pupils hands-on experience running real events.
🤝 Third Sector Initiatives: helping charities and community groups use events to upskill teams, boost fundraising and grow their impact.
🎤 Event Consultancy: working with organisations to design and deliver purpose-driven events from start to finish.
Three strands. One goal: building skills, confidence and opening doors for the next generation of event professionals.
Follow along for updates on our work, insights from the industry, and the stories of the people we work with.

EveryStage were incredibly proud to attend the Glasgow @kiltwalk
Our course participants were given the amazing opportunity to complete a work experience placement at one of Scotland’s busiest events!
With over 20,000 walkers raising £4.3 million for 1,111 charities, the atmosphere was absolutely buzzing!

What an incredible event. Thank you so much to the KiltWalk for having us, we had a blast!
A few months ago, Emma joined our Introduction to Social Media & Marketing course and completed her placement with Stella Marketing. Since then, she’s launched her own social media management business, Sowilo Media.
At EveryStage, we believe young people don’t just need qualifications, they need real experience, real connections, and real confidence.
Our courses are designed to bridge the gap between education and industry and this is a perfect example of exactly why they exist, building practical skills, industry placements, and kick starting careers.

Last week marked a big moment for EveryStage!
For the very first time we had two courses running simultaneously in Glasgow and Edinburgh!
We are so excited and grateful to be growing EveryStage and creating opportunities that tackle youth unemployment through our employability courses.
On Sunday 27th April, our latest Glasgow Introduction to Events Management and Planning merged with our Edinburgh Introduction to Social Media and Marketing. Together they took on the Glasgow KiltWalk in a work experience day!
Our Glasgow course got a taster for stewarding, events logistics and the behind-the-scenes of a major event. Our Edinburgh course put their new marketing skills to the test by capturing content of the day, led by Stella Marketing.
Thank you to the KiltWalk for this incredible opportunity!

We are delighted to introduce and welcome Cairistiona Fletcher to the EveryStage team!
Cairistiona is our Training Programme Coordinator. She will be a key contact for course participants, playing a vital role in organising course information and assisting with the deliver of our Introduction to Events Management and Social Media and Marketing courses.
With a background in design, Cairistiona graduated from Edinburgh College of Art with a degree in Fashion Design. Her creative background kickstarted a career in the events industry as she has since managed a major exhibition, collaborated with parters such as Ardbeg House and been featured in Vogue, alongside creative projects and commissions since university.
We are very excited to have Cairistiona on board as we continue to grow EveryStage and tackle some of the key challenges facing the events sector, including youth unemployment and workforce shortages.
Please join us in giving Cairistiona a very warm welcome to our team 👏
