We celebrated an early Mother's Day in beautiful San Juan Capistrano, and we couldn't have asked for better weather or more magical vibes.

The Johnsons can now officially cross "attend our first professional soccer game" off our bucket list!
We had a blast at the @lagalaxy game + bonus, they won!
Predictably, Wesson wanted to leave early to go play soccer himself at home. He's still more of a doer than a spectator, but I love that he was so inspired!
I know this is such a #soccermom thing to admit, but I find Wesson's games the most exciting. There's nothing like watching your own kid kick some 🍑!

I can't tell you when this tradition began, but for many years my mom and I have made a date to see the #dwtslivetour whenever they come to town.
No matter what's happening in our lives, we always make time for Dancing With The Stars.
This has become one of my favorite things to do with @karenaschreiber . We have both been watching DWTS since it began, and we continue to be in awe every season.
There is nothing more inspiring than seeing these individuals dance their hearts out and share their talents with us.
It is not lost on me how lucky we are to do this every year, and to do it together makes it even better.

Final spring staycation scenes 💚

There were many highlights of our spring staycation, but we all agreed that @holeymoleyirvine was at the top of the list.
This indoor mini golf venue makes the sport fun for everyone, including my non-athletic, non-competitive self.
It's a vibe and a 10/10 for the whole fam! Next time, we're gonna check out Hotel Hijinx 🛎️
Our spring staycation continued with trips to @bricksandminifigscostamesa + @sportsbasementsocal !
It's truly amazing to see how Wesson can easily spend 2 hours building Legos, which was a bit too long for grandma 😂.
We also learned that you can sell them your sets (both built and not built), which is great for collectors who don't have the space for all of their masterpieces.
