Don’t get me wrong —
this job is long days, late nights, sore backs, thousands of photos, tons of emails, and constantly trying to keep up with everything while running a business by myself.
But then I get to freeze moments like these.
The giggles.
The chaos.
The cuddles.
The way your kids reach for you without thinking.
The little moments that feel ordinary now but won’t someday.
And honestly?
That part never gets old.
So yeah… maybe it actually is sunshine and rainbows sometimes.

I get asked to photograph a lot of different things… and honestly, I think it’s important to say no to some of them.
Not because I can’t — but because I want to do my thing really well.
I focus on weddings, couples, and immediate families. The real, connected, slightly chaotic (in the best way) kind of moments.
Extended family sessions, headshots, big group setups — those just aren’t where I do my best work.
And sports portraits? I love them… but I keep those close to home for my local community 🤍
