Solo rigging the 330 line in Freyr. Glad it was on this special rig I managed my first "full man" as a bonus.
It's hard to put into words the butterfly effect from the
@beslack.be highline course in 2024. It was the clear start of a new passion and amazing sport. Fairly soon I was intrigued by solo rigging and successfully rigging this beautiful line was a great experience and it scratched a personal itch :).
An interesting aspect of this odd sport are the emotional aspects. From having to dig deep and intense fights with the line, balance and mostly ourselves to the amazing times in the zone, going with the flow of the line enjoying the scenery and nature from this unique perspective.
Pulling meters and meters of tagline gave me plenty of time to ponder. I have spent many hours sitting in or around nature at beautiful spots, ups and downs trying to master the sport and most importantly have met so many great people and made some new friends along the way.
Happy that my amazing wife puts up with all the webbing in our house, countless hours of gear talk and the many weekends away.
I am so grateful for all the people I met along the way that inspired me in some way.
