Weight is so important. The Ever platform is designed to be light. As built, the demonstrator sits at 15,260 lb (front: 5940 / rear: 9320) with full fuel, full DEF, no water. The lighter you are, the further you can go. Full build out updates coming soon!

Small details matter.
This week we wrapped the bathroom walls in leftover peel-and-stick wallpaper from another project — proof that good materials deserve a second life. It added warmth and character instantly.
It wasn’t the easiest install, but a light mist of water before application helped eliminate air bubbles and gave us just enough working time to get it right.
Even inside an expedition shell, beauty belongs in the details.

This week, a short but sweet one! These custom shelves for the cabover section really turned out beautifully. A very long "nightstand" - each is angled to provide necessary geometry for the King size bed and create the maximum amount storage in the cabover section.

This week we're tackling the grey water tank. The Ever Expedition shell has 4 integrated storage hatches with optional 10" deep storage wells. We chose to locate our 40 gallon grey water tank in one of those storage wells. The hatch goes over it and closes it in. Our shower is located on top of that so it can still be accessed down the line. Additionally you'll see how we bond the aluminum support members to the shell by fiberglassing them on!

Each Ever Expedition Shell comes standard with a 9 square foot skylight preinstalled. Here's a look back at our process for installing it.
Additionally we've received questions on our aluminum wall system. For our demonstrator we used aluminum tubing to support our dinette area, kitchen as well as bathroom walls. These sections are attached with rivets and then fiberglassed into the body to create a strong bond that will support the constant vibrations in the shell.

Given these will interact with moisture we're using an ACM aluminum backed polypropylene sheet, typically used for sign making. They're a bit sturdier, cut easily like the PET panels and have great moisture resistance.

Walls and ceilings are going into the demonstrator. It's amazing how having walls transform the feeling of the truck.
For our walls we used a PET panel material made from recycled plastic water bottles. These materials were left over from another build and worked perfectly in this application. These help reduce sound, add a tiny bit of insulate value, they're easy to cut and place and they look nice! We used a backing piece to allow us to cut screw flaps which would conceal the attachment points but make them accessible later.
