We build “general duty equipment”: gear driven by versatility. At the beginning stages of design, we imagine a myriad of potential loadouts and then arrive at features, access, and ergonomics that maximize those intentions. This process delivers flexible and utility-driven equipment, built for seemingly any load.
Over the years I’ve had smaller items I want quick access to, but I have a hard time keeping them organized or in one spot.
Lately I’ve been using the @evergoods_ CAP1 to solve this problem. For either small camera gear bits, to an EDC pouch, I find these work perfectly.
They also come in some really cool colors, seen here in this video is their iconic burnt orange, and their solution dyed black.
Check them out, you won’t be disappointed!

All of Evergoods’ primary materials are woven to order for each production. They have been custom developed for our brand to deliver exceptional performance, beauty and durability at a reasonable cost.
We envision the end qualities we desire, and then use a bit of science, a bit of industry knowledge, and a bit of weaving magic to develop a high-quality material for our best-in-class gear.
Today in a new blog post (linked in our bio) we’re pulling back the curtain to show you a closer look at the three primary textiles we’ve developed and use across our product line.
You’ll learn what goes into each textile, how we’ve chosen to handle it for Evergoods, and what you can expect to find in a finished Evergoods product.

While in the mountains outside Bishop, California, our Creative Producer Santino carried a Leica Mini Zoom point-and-shoot he picked up at a street market in Hong Kong earlier this spring. This was the first roll through the camera, loaded with Portra 400 and shot over a few days in Bishop. The scans just came back, and we wanted to share some of those moments with you here.
“A Goldilocks bag.” That’s how our friends at @carryology described the MPL22 in their 2023 First Look review.
So when it came time to update the pack with a new lightweight textile, we knew one thing: the core experience had to stay intact.
The quick-access exterior pockets. The comfortable XLPE frame sheet. Our best-in-class water bottle pockets. Everything that made MPL22 feel like a “nimble lightweight beast” remains, now paired with reduced weight for even better trail performance.
Our design philosophy has always centered around continuous improvement.
So why overhaul something that’s already great?
When we say “best-in-class water bottle pockets”, we mean it.
Intentionally designed using premium textiles and components, they expand in use and lie flat when not.
Paired with two other external quick access pockets and you have everything you need for organization on the go.
Meet the new MOUNTAIN Panel Loader 22L, updated with a new light, rugged, and weather-resistant custom textile: 210D Nylon 6,6.
The first prototype of MPL22 was built in 2022 using this material and since then, the original model has excelled across overseas adventures, camping trips, and ridgeline hikes.
We custom built 210D Nylon 6,6 to prioritize weight savings while maintaining durability, making it the perfect match for our lightest trail pack.
All the versatile features of MPL22 remain, preserving the best elements of one of our most loved bags, built for fast days on the trail no matter the terrain or forecast.
