We are delighted to announce the launch of The Ever Foundation. Our mission is to return some small piece of the ones we have lost to the ones who will love and miss them forever.

In 2023, we will begin accepting requests for end of life, legacy photo sessions from within the Netherlands for individuals and families with loved ones or companion animals who are at or near the end of life.

We are a very small crew based in Amsterdam. Logistically, we regret we will not be able to fulfill every request we receive. However, it will always be our goal to accommodate as many requests as we can.

No matter how or when it comes, The Ever Foundation was created to honor souls at the end of a journey. The images we capture are a way for people to hold on to memories of their loved ones which grief might otherwise obscure. In some cases, they may even provide some of the only proof that their loved one was here at all.

Whatever the circumstances, legacy photography can be a tremendous help to those facing the loss of their loved one. Because we believe no one should receive a bill during the hardest days of their life, we are building an organization whose gathered donations will keep these professional legacy photo sessions free for the people who need them.

If you have ever lost someone you love, this is an easy one to answer. Everything. Photographs of the ones we love are everything. Whether you look at them every day or almost never, just knowing these images are there when you need them can be a source of great comfort.

Our job at The Ever Foundation is to tell the story of how cherished your loved one is in this world, to honor souls at the end of a special journey, and if needed, to serve as memory keeper for anyone who may struggle to remember things as they were.

Though it will never be enough, it is our highest honor to help people hold on to their loved ones for the long journey ahead.

Adeleine came into this world two years ago today and was not expected to be born alive. From the moment she let out her very first cries, it was quite obvious she had plans beyond what her medical team predicted for her. That she lived for two weeks, and was even able to go home with her parents, was truly a miracle for her and for her family.

Two years later, her family’s memories of Adeleine are preserved forever in the photographs we shot during her short life. A sort of lifeline to their time together, these images still bring great comfort to her family.

Adeleine was one of the bravest, fiestiest souls with a giant personality. It was a privilege to know her. Her absence is felt profoundly by her large, close knit family. On her second birthday, The Ever Foundation sends Adeleine’s family much love.
