When pondering what coffee to bring in for Everbean retail, I always strive for having something for (almost) everyone. From wild flavours that punch you in the face to mellow profile that is as comfortable as an old friend’s hug, I try to stock our shelf without alienating. The only exception is that you won’t find anything that is roasted too dark with oily sheen on the beans and/or smoky notes in taste. There are plenty of venues offering dark roast in our area so we choose to devote our limited shelf space for something lighter and brighter.
To plan an order, I look at various roasters’ menus to read up on different origins, varieties, processing methods and tasting notes, all while imagining what would appeal to whom. I am constantly on the look out for roasters with interesting coffee to introduce to our local coffee enthusiasts! Searching for coffee to bring in has truly become one of my most cherished aspect of work. I hope you love what I curated for you! 💖

📣 NEWS FLASH: As most of you know, Everbean is a small family business, a so-called mom-and-pop coffee shop operated by just Chris and I (Jessie). A few years ago, we made a conscious decision to keep the operation small and hours sustainable, in order to have no staff. However, when stars aligned and opportunity presented itself, we have to welcome our very first CMO (Chief Morale Officer).
Introducing Marciano, aka Marci the marshmallow 🎊 Please give a warm greeting to this newest member of our family whom arrived shortly after the cupping event on February 21. He has since boosted our work morale by at least 200% because we work hard to give our dog a better life!
So come buy retail coffee, get some food/drinks, or better yet, buy our business! Because the only thing better than funding Marciano’s new joyful lifestyle is to have more time to spend with him 💗

It has always been my goal, when ordering coffee for Everbean’s retail, to have something for everyone - whether you prefer more comforting taste profiles, or lean towards adventurous flavour bombs. There are so many origins, varieties, and processing methods that bring forth such a wide spectrum of flavours in coffee. Studying through different roasters’ menus, and then imagining what might become your next favourite coffee is truly fun in my mind. When you tell me that you enjoyed the beans purchased, it’s so satisfyingly reassuring for me, as if I successfully planned a coffee matchmaking 🥰🫶
