Behind the Design: @gs_charm_studio Logo & Brand Identity Designing the brand identity for G’s Charm Studio was all about translating beauty, confidence, and elegance into one memorable visual mark. * The Idea Behind the Logo The goal was to create a logo that instantly communicates feminine beauty services while still feeling premium and timeless. Instead of using a generic beauty symbol, I wanted the logo to feel personal and iconic. That’s where the concept of a monogram + silhouette fusion came in. * The Icon Creation At the heart of the logo is the letter “G” the brand’s initial. To give it personality and meaning, I integrated a female side profile into the letterform. This approach achieved three powerful things: • It keeps the logo minimal and memorable • It clearly represents beauty and self-care • It turns the letter G into a recognizable brand symbol The flowing hair shape was carefully shaped to create movement, elegance, and softness key emotions the brand represents. * Typography Choices The wordmark needed to complement the icon without competing with it. So I chose a clean, modern sans-serif style for: G’s Charm – bold, confident, and easy to read Studio – lighter and spaced out to add balance and sophistication The thin divider lines were added to create structure and give the logo a polished, luxury feel. * Colour Direction The deep wine/burgundy background paired with the warm cream logo colour was intentionally selected to communicate: • Luxury • Warmth • Femininity • Trust and professionalism This colour combination gives the brand a premium presence across social media, packaging, and signage. * Building the Brand Identity Beyond the logo, the identity system was created to ensure consistency across every touchpoint: • Colour palette for digital & print • Typography pairing • Layout direction for social media • A recognizable visual tone for the brand * The Result A timeless, feminine and elegant brand identity that reflects the experience clients receive at G’s Charm Studio. Because a great beauty brand shouldn’t just look good it should feel unforgettable.
