Just got back from my trip
and finally opened the card waiting for me...
I think I‘m slowly learning
how to prepare my heart for this next stage of
motherhood.
25years later, reuniting with two old creative souls, Hye Yoon @masionhyy of The Shilla Hotel and once our art director during Eve & Co.’s NY days, and Suwa @suwa_ , whose fashion arts remain some of the most stylish I’ve ever seen, felt surreal. A short reunion filled with great food and nonstop conversation… the perfect ending to this trip.

That’s it.
A full 12 ft x 12 ft farmhouse structure,
built entirely on site from scratch.
Every detail — animals, fruits, desserts, florals, plants, hay, photo table, wall frames, entrance, balloons— completed within that window. No shortcuts. No compromises.
A limited timeframe is not a constraint.It is the condition that proves our standard. Even under pressure, the level of finish does not shift.

Five months later, in winter, I returned to NY for the next season collection with Morilee New York @morileeofficial
While our previous project focused on faux and preserved
installations, this time, all work was executed entirely with fresh florals (boxwood hedge panels covered with moss, and fresh vines.)
Working over five days in a room-temperature environment required constant adjustments to maintain the condition and longevity of each element, making it a challenge in its own right. Yet, these unpredictable moments, and the results that emerge from them, are always the most compelling part of the process for me.
A five-day journey, and another successful collaboration.
Final install, the last day of our 5 day shoot in New York last summer.
This project marked a collaboration with MORILEE NEW YORK @morileeofficial , working alongside the team led by designer JIYUP @jiyup , whose vision and creative direction shaped the entire project.

All elements came together on site in a cohesive flow,
with beauty present in every moment.

Eunice and Chad’s wedding remains one of the most memorable moments I have ever created. And 8 years later, being entrusted with their daughter Lily’s first birthday feels incredibly special and deeply joyful.
Even now, Eunice remembers her wedding with such warmth.
She was the princess of that day, and eight years later, as she prepared her daughter’s first birthday, I left only the faintest trace of that memory within Lily’s DOL decor.
Guided by Eunice’s vision of lilies and dragons, I allowed the essence of her wedding day to linger softly, like a gentle scent woven into the celebration.
My work is not simply about decorating a party. It is about listening to a family’s story over time and carefully carrying that story through each meaningful milestone.
