Hey there!!! 👋👋
My name’s Eve, and I have been a qualified mat and reformer Pilates instructor since the end of 2024 after completing my coursework through @studiopilatestraining ! While it was a super scary leap for me, I have loved every moment of instructing since, and it has been so fun to overcome all my fear and doubt in this lovely space and realise I am so much more capable than I initially let myself believe. Also, the people I’ve met already are a HUGE perk!
So, that leads me to this account!! I’m going to be posting some tidbits of my Pilates life (and other fitness ventures) on here, and will always try and keep it real, so feel free to follow along if that sounds fun for you 🫶
P.s; what’s an introduction without some fun facts? Other than Pilates, I love matcha, Netflix binges, my beautiful friends and fam and the beach (plus have a love-hate relationship with running atm).

Pilates can be done anywhere you bring your mat (cat optional)! You can be a pink Pilates princess from home today while also soaking up some sunshine 🌞
p.s I was waiting to post this on a Wednesday 💕💓💗

The way you can see my legs start to shake lol 🙃!! The lightest dumbbells we have are 2.5kgs so…
In all seriousness I always love seeing my favourite mat flows transfer onto the reformer so seamlessly 🤌
& if you’re still reading, happy Monday 😘💗

The 8 principles of the Pilates method:
💛 Concentration: being aware of body positioning, posture and movement patterns all at the same time
💛 Centring: starting from the centre of the body- the core- and moving outwards
💛 Breathing: how your breath changes and enhances each movement
💛 Control: doing the movement slowly and effectively
💛 Precision: each flow and cue has a purpose to guide you to the precise form
💛 Flowing movement: how one repetition flows into the next, rather than stopping and starting
💛 Isolation: practicing mind to muscle connection in activating the correct muscles
💛 Routine: practicing regularly to the point it becomes a habit

Here’s something a little slower for Sunday! Ab curls definitely have their place in 90% of my classes, but it can be so fun to switch it up 💌

Such a fun way to build to a side plank/pike series! In practice I would alternate sides up until the finisher (pikes) for a more dynamic flow. Enjoy ☺️
