What would you do if you were totally free to live your best and biggest life? Gender-based violence shapes women’s and girls’ lives in so many different ways – quietly limiting our freedoms and holding us back from following our dreams. We know a different world is possible. If enough of us come together, we can build a better society right now – and one that lasts for generations of women and girls to come. What does #ADifferentWorld look like to you? Share your everyday dreams below, and tap the link in our bio to join the movement.

Have you been watching #BelieveMe? This ITV drama depicts the real-life stories of women who were horrifically failed by the police when they reported rape. These failures not only denied the women justice, they left serial rapist John Worboys free to rape and sexually assault over 100 women. This portrayal was shaped by the survivors’ experiences and shows them not just as victims of a horrific assault but the driving force behind a landmark legal case that held the state and its institutions to account. Their legal challenge, which @evawuk , @southallblacksisters , nia and @rapecrisisew intervened in, found that the failings breached the women’s human rights - setting a precedent that allows human rights claims to be brought against the police when there have been significant failures to investigate. As with any portrayal of sexual violence, it is a tough watch, so give yourself permission to give it a miss if needed 💛 If you have been affected by rape and sexual violence, help is available. Contact @rapecrisisew for free at any time, day or night, all year round, on 0808 500 2222

❗️Some public figures, politicians and others in power are using violence against women and girls to further their anti-migrant and anti-women agendas. This spreads fear, divides our communities, creates more violence and harms us all. We need to shift the narrative to one that is accurate, evidence-based and grounded in lived experience. That, however, will take collective action from us all. 💡As part of our #NotInOurName campaign, we’ve created a practical guide for you to engage in conversations about the weaponisation of VAWG. Tackling these topics can be hard, especially in an increasingly hostile environment. But if we truly care about survivors and ending violence against women, we must stand against misinformation that fuels that hostility. 📣 It’s up to all of us to change the narrative! 🔍 Read the guide - link in bio

Marking International Women’s Day in memory of all women and girls killed by men, as we demand action to end to all forms of violence and abuse. Thank you @million_women_rise for all you do to bring us together each year in solidarity and remembrance. “We rise because systems that harm women and girls rely on silence. We rise because naming violence is the first step to ending it. We rise because women have always led resistance.” #WhyWeRise #MillionWomenRise #IWD #IWD2026

End Violence Against Women and Ridley Scott Associates launch ‘Check-in’, a social film exploring positive masculinities. Directed by Prabs Wignarajah, the film sees actress Rhianne Barreto (Hanna, The Oulaws) play a series of male characters “checking in” on their mates to remind them not to harass women. Ending violence against women and girls is everyone’s business. It’s time to engage men and boys as agents of change. - #vawg #iwd #internationalwomensday

🚨We’re taking action against Ofcom! Along with Jane, a survivor of intimate image abuse, we’re calling for Ofcom to do more to use its powers of investigation and enforcement against ‘collector culture’ forums, where abuse imagery is traded. This is a particularly horrible example of misogyny and violence against women. Tech platforms have responsibilities to prevent this abuse, rather than enable it. Ofcom must take action!
