We are delighted to introduce Yi-Wa (猗娃) @evatwin0 as a featured artist in the Masterpiece Spotlight 2026 New Year Special Edition.
Yi-Wa’s creative process is guided by intuition. She often paints without preliminary sketches, allowing color and movement to flow freely across the canvas, as if the images already exist and are simply waiting to be revealed. She believes each painting carries its own consciousness and soul.
In her artistic world, opposites are not in conflict—water and fire, sun and moon coexist effortlessly. Art is inherently free; limitations are imposed only by human perception and convention.
Born and raised in Taitung, Taiwan, surrounded by nature, Yi-Wa has been sensitive to color from an early age. Working primarily with acrylics, pigments, and mineral materials, she creates vibrant, fantastical compositions that celebrate love, positivity, and healing. Many viewers experience a quiet sense of comfort, strength, and understanding in her work.
Through her paintings, Yi-Wa seeks to leave a little more kindness and possibility in the world—one painting, one moment of quiet wonder at a time.

At this year’s Red Dot Miami,
the paintings of Yi-Wa (猗娃) @evatwin0 became one of the most heart-warming surprises for many visitors.
Her world feels soft, luminous, and full of quiet imagination—
a place where colors breathe and emotions shine gently through each layer of paint.
People often slowed down in front of her works,
drawn into the delicate textures, the glowing flowers,
and the whimsical scene of a small cat playing an instrument
while a goldfish drifts gracefully nearby—
as if both had wandered in from a tender, dreamlike moment.
Her paintings touched something gentle inside viewers,
awakening a sense of peace and childlike wonder.
Yi-Wa paints with intuition and sensitivity,
layering acrylics and minerals to create depth, radiance,
and a unique softness that feels alive.
Her art does not shout—
it invites.
It comforts.
It reminds us that keeping our imagination alive
is a way of keeping light in our lives.

我只是想畫出一個溫暖的太陽🌞
在我的繪畫世界裡，橘貓總是象徵著太陽的存在🐈
牠像一位溫柔的愛神邱比特，只是手中的弓箭，
變成了一把金色的小喇叭🎺
當牠吹奏喇叭時，
樂聲會化作一朵朵充滿朝氣的花，
從喇叭口綻放、蔓延。
那些花就像陽光一樣🌼
帶著溫暖、希望與柔軟的祝福，
悄悄落在世界的每一個角落。
When I first envisioned this piece in my mind,
I simply wanted to paint a warm sun. 🌞
In my artistic world, the orange cat has always symbolized the sun. 🐈
It’s like a gentle Cupid, except the bow in its hands
has become a small golden horn. 🎺
When it plays the horn,
the melody transforms into vibrant, lively flowers
that bloom and spread from the horn’s opening.
These flowers are like sunlight itself. 🌼
Carrying warmth, hope, and soft blessings,
they quietly fall upon every corner of the world.
