I’m so honored to announce that my piece la divina is a chosen winner @american_illustration_winners for American Illustration 45 Archive Collection!
The illustration was originally created -as black&white lineart- for the iconic venue of the opera of graz.
It serves as a conceptual guide and an orientation map so that the visitors can safely find their way through Heaven, Hell, and Purgatory to Paradise (the auditorium & stage) during the dance production #LaDivinaCommedia by Estefania Miranda in the physical space & stage design by Till Kuhnert.

Die Illustratorin @evapilsillus arbeitete zunächst zehn Jahre in der Architektur, bevor sie ihren Fokus ganz auf Illustration gelegt hat. Heute bewegt sie sich an der Schnittstelle von analoger Zeichnung und digitaler Innovation – mit einer klar erkennbaren, persönlichen Handschrift. ✏️
In ihrer Arbeit setzt sie sich auch mit aktuellen Entwicklungen in der Bildproduktion auseinander. Besonders wichtig ist ihr dabei der bewusste Umgang mit Gestaltung: Illustration entsteht für sie aus Haltung, eigener Perspektive und gestalterischem Können – Qualitäten, die menschliche Kreativität ausmachen. 💡
