excited to finally get some rolls developed from last year. hoping I don’t let myself collect a bunch of rolls again this year. typing this as we’re sitting in our seats on the plane taking us to japan for our honeymoon & being able to say it’ll be my 4th trip is insane.
Naniwa Yodogawa Fireworks Festival in Osaka, Japan 🎆 ✨ This festival is normally scheduled for the first Saturday of August each year, but ended up being rescheduled to October 18th, 2025 due to the Expo. Being able to experience this festival for my birthday was so incredible. It started to downpour within 30 minutes of the show starting and running in the rain with our ponchos was definitely an experience lol.
•Check the official website for free public viewing areas beforehand. I recommend staying near Juso Station or within walking distance to the Yodogawa River so you won’t have to deal with crowds going in and out of the stations.
•ARRIVE EARLY TO GET A GOOD VIEWING SPOT ❗️
We arrived at 3pm for a 7:30pm show start time. Entrance to the free public viewing areas start at 12pm.
•Food stalls are available in the public viewing areas, be prepared to wait in long lines. Cash only.
We grabbed some snacks and drinks at a conbini beforehand!
