Evan: This past year has been such a sweet season of soaking in the beginnings, learning, and loving you, Kenz. Editing my own wedding video was a decision I wrestled with, but now that it’s done, I’m so grateful for the hours spent reflecting on that day. Thank you to everyone who made it so special and surrounded us with love and support. I can’t wait to watch this video 50 years from now and relive the words we promised each other. Here’s to year 2 and all the memories ahead!
Kenz: Watching this video brought back all of the tears and beautiful memories of our sweet day. We had dreamed up every little moment for our wedding day and it was captured so wonderfully. But even more so, it had me reflecting on Ev and how much deeper I’ve grown to know, trust & cherish him. And this is still just the beginning. Praise God. Thanks honey for putting our video together. So so thankful for you & everyone who had a hand in it.🫶🏼

We had a wonderful time shooting photo/video for @heavenonearthfestivals last week! We spent a couple of extra days in Utah exploring @archesnps & Salt Lake to see the salt flats where we ate crepes & watched the sunset. Life is dreamy with @mackenziecpierce
My 90-year-old grandpa did something truly remarkable. Over the past seven years, he poured his heart into writing down every story he could remember from his life, compiling them into an autobiography. Each time I visited him in Arkansas, it was so special to sit with him at his computer and read the new stories that had come to his mind since my last visit.
As a family, we came together to bring his stories to life in print. We titled the book Man of Steel—a nod to his love for playing the steel guitar and the fact that he’s always been a superhero in our eyes. For the cover, we used a photo of him performing at our family’s country music show, @roundupmusicshow , and included old photos throughout the book to bring his memories to life.
Christmas 2024, we surprised him with the finished book. Watching him hand out signed copies to family and friends was unforgettable. I couldn’t be prouder to be the grandson of Ira Pierce—a true Man of Steel.
