the opening animation is inspired by the title sequence of Pierrot le Fou (1965). the latter section is inspired by the cinematography of Michael Maziere and Paul Clipson. the score is made up of piano, organ, my dad’s tape recorder, background voices, and cat meows.

i’m excited to share the launch of my first collection of poems “Rock Music”!!!!! please join me on april 30 from 7pm-12am in the lobby of the wonderful annex hotel! we will have custom cocktails, we will have multiple live versions of cortez the killer, we will have a poetry reading from the book (we might have books for sale…). this has been long in the making, and i couldn’t have done it alone. come and celebrate with me FOR ONE NIGHT ONLY
