I wish I could edit and mix this fast 😂. Burning some of that midnight oil and wearing a hoodie pretending it’s cold outside while I mix. Fun tip. Don’t wear your hood or having a beaning covering your ears. It will affect how you hear your mix.

One of my favorite parts of song writing has been the collaboration - bringing the structure, chord progressions, and lyrics to the table and seeing what @evan.ander hears. It’s in the writing and composing process that we discuss how the music and lyrics can work together to tell a story that is real and honest- one that is relatable and felt deeply.

Right before this past Christmas I had a pretty big internal freak out about music, career, life etc… I told Jesus something has to change this next year cause I’m at a loss. And now being 6 months into the new year I have seen Jesus provide so many opportunities, more work, better work and I’m getting to work on projects that I really believe in and is giving me life. In the middle of everything it’s really hard to see Gods hand. But stopping for a moment to see what He has done is so important. Sure there are things I’m still wanting, things that aren’t fun, things that hurt, things I’m waiting for but I’m still so thankful to Jesus for all He has given me. Through every storm in life my anchor and hope is Jesus Christ
