It's hard to quantify the emotional landscape behind Cave Tree. More than a song, it feels like a suite. I didn't expect a track that started with lyrical arpeggios to evolve into something that fuses serialism, Messiaen, punk, and beyond.
Now that the song and the music video are out, it all makes sense. There's been so much going on in my life and music is the only safe channel to let this out.

Cave Tree is out today 🔉
So excited to share the third single from my upcoming album 'Transfiguration', alongside a music video filmed in the lush surroundings of Ashton Court!
This song is deeply rooted in personal memories and Bristol's natural and historical landscapes: from a tree with a cave inside, to the reverberating vocals and horns recorded at the medieval St Stephen's Church.
We're presenting the track live on 13th August at @cafekino , in a show organised by @high__colour
