Many of Evam’s designs stem from Caroline Kable’s studio practice, which has been built over the past 10 years. After receiving an MFA from RISD in furniture design, she continued to develop her work in her studio in Red Hook, Brooklyn. After suffering a traumatic brain injury in 2022, she began imbuing her poetry onto her work. Soon after she started the production line with friend Aditya Jaimini, based in Udaipur, India. Thus, Evam was born. We’re happy to begin sharing more of our story, which will include shary the body of collectible pieces made by @carolinekable .
