AFW day 3⛓️ “THE UNIFORM OF SUCCESS”
For Day 3 of AFW, I wanted to create a message, not just a look. I’ve titled this “The Uniform of Success”, and yeah it’s completely ironic.
Living in a city like Sydney, we identify so deeply with what we do professionally, a culture where people will ask you what you do for work before they ask you what your name is, as if our job title is our name.
These chains represent that prison, where our value exists only when we perform, only when we are succeeding professionally. We put on the “successful” costume to show the world we’re winning, but in reality, we’re just shrinking ourselves to fit into a box.
This look is an invitation to step outside this box, and a reminder that our worth isn’t found in a job description.. The beauty of fashion, being able to speak volumes without saying a word🖤
