What do I need to feel connected? When do I sense
togetherness? When am I safe? Where do I feel free?
What makes me share my inner? Is there a word, de-
scribing safety and freedom at the same time?
Is there a language, telling open and safe in only one
word?
Is there a place where I can thrive in the maximum of
free, but the maximum of safe?
How can I keep safety inside and open up and offer
my shell to others?
The get-together includes a comic-reading and playing
with materials, shaping spaces, shells, cases, caskets,
carapaces, caves, cocoons, trays, pods for shelter and
candor. As low or high key you like.
NOTE: If you want, bring materials you find inspiring
or sympathetic. Things like glue, paper, pens, scissors,
cutters, needles and tape are nice to have, but also without these you can attend :)

Eva Gräbeldinger works as a storyteller via diverse techniques and media.
In general their work is process based and plays with
content and material parallels and symbols. They celebrate materials in a constant dialogue and exchange, leaving traces and collecting traces.
Currently they explore togetherness and existing so-
cieties of diverse entities. They envision ways of togetherness and various aspects of the inner and outer process, which come along: mysteries, truths, possibilities, identity, constructs, personal inner and broader collective growing.
Their motifs often show fictional relationships bet-
ween human and non-human entities. Also in the tan-
gible they build communities of materials, media and
techniques: printmaking, sculpting, drawing, comic,
writing, painting, textile, sounds tell common stories
or work as thought-complexes.
Eva Gräbeldinger lives and works in leipzig. They are
part of SQUASH, a comic collective in Leipzig, and
also member of the Comic Gewerkschaft.
