How is bridal makeup different from any other?
Well, the short answer is bridal makeup require more planning and attention to detail.let’s break it down in 3 steps.
STEP1: phone consultation is the first step to getting introduced to the bride,and the type of wedding she is planning( number of days, outfits, location, date…etc)this is when we plan bridal makeup trial.
STEP 2: the bridal makeup trial is a very important step.I ask a lot of questions to understand what she is and isn’t comfortable with.i work to bring her ideas to life.During this process, we can try different makeup looks for her to see and compare.After we have had the trial, I find that brides are more relaxed on the wedding day and this goes a long way to let my artistic creativity do its magic!
STEP 3: The wedding day,the big day!we remember the details of our earlier meetings and bring her vision into reality in the most beautiful and elegant way.Important to note that bridal makeup can’t be rushed!!!!I try to give my brides time,to allow them to get fully ready with hair done and dress on before I allow myself to leave them.I also leave them with a small touch kit with minis to refresh just in case.
