What I love about working with ink and watercolour is that I have no real control over how it spreads once I drop the ink. It takes a life of its own and I am grateful to play witness.

Ok where to begin.. firstly just got done with an eye infection that took my joy lol. This gave me time to understand what I really wanted to do.. so I have news.. I’ve recently given my Etsy shop a new direction and decided to focus on making art intentionally for children. This matters to me.. and obviously being a mom influenced my decision.. so I am renaming my yellow drawer shop to @wonderjarstudio funny thing is I had this name for 15 years.. was my previous Tumblr blog name..it’s like a full circle moment. So today and yesterday I’ve just been strategising, conceptualising and fine tuning my direction. How exciting ✨ and also decided Canela is my favourite font right now ♥️😅
