I’m still trying to find a balance between work and the things I create for myself.
I keep thinking I need more time.
But I think what I really need is the freedom to feel time.

A solo trip that reminded me what kindness feels like.
My marathon got cancelled… so I went to China/ Inner Mongolia alone. It turned out to be the most memorable and sweetest solo trip I’ve had so far.
I landed in Beijing at 2am.
It started with a random conversation with a taxi driver…
then continued with locals in Inner Mongolia sharing pieces of their lives with me.
Strangers who didn’t know my name, but treated me with a kindness I didn’t ask for.
Maybe I was meant to be there, because through this trip I found the warmth I didn’t know I needed.
