In the name of poetry we gathered and spoke of love, resilience and endless hope in our hearts. Thank you for joining us for Poetry Underground on 19th April at @cafewellbeing_22 . @puja_aggarwal thank you for having us, and offering us delicious chai and snacks. Thank you @shivamgulati_visuals for freezing these moments in time. Thank you @chinmay.pandey for the stunning light design. In the night, and underground, it felt as though we were reading poems on a quintessential Chandigarh terrace during sunset. Bohat shukriya! Thank you @eulbh for being a wonderful co-host. Until next time, keep fanning the flames of poetry around you.

Whatever is underground is waiting to bloom. Unborn flowers gather strength in the dark, patiently taking root. For all that has been held back, hushed, or hidden— this is an evening to begin, just as we are. Just as our poems and songs are, sleeping in our throats. Wake them up. Warm our hearts and give us the pleasure of your company. Tickets available on BookMyShow. Gratitude to @noorranix for sharing with her purple lotuses of resilience. 💜 And to @cafewellbeing_22 for hosting us.

Meet our first Community Anchors! When we first put out the call for Community Anchors, we didn’t know what to expect. What has come back is overwhelming. Messages from across the music community, from people who care deeply about making this industry kinder, safer, and more sustainable for everyone in it. Community Anchors are exactly that: trusted voices within their circles. People others turn to. Artists, educators, organisers, facilitators; folks who listen and believe that real change starts from within the community. We’re excited to introduce the first four Community Anchors joining ‘It’s Time To Talk’: Luv Mahtani (@youfoundluv / @ukulelewithluv )
Hanna Uma Laufer (@eulbh )
Dushyant Mishra (@dushyantmishra374 )
Sejal Chopra (@sej_chopra ) Each of them brings their own lived experience and commitment to the table, and together, they’ll help us reach musicians and music workers whose stories deserve to be heard. This is just the beginning.
There are many more voices to come, and many more conversations waiting to happen. Thank you to everyone who reached out, shared their intent, and reminded us why this work matters. 💛
More Community Anchors announcements coming soon.

❌ NOT MY WARS ❌ 📌 Article sources @lemondefr « “Accepting the possibility of losing one’s children”: who is Fabien Mandon, the Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces who sparked the controversy » @mediapart « A “purely military” national service will be introduced in summer 2026 for young adult volunteers. » @lhumanitefr « Why Emmanuel Macron wants to prepare minds for war » @disclose.ngo « France and Europe are funding the Israeli military industry without admitting it » @stoparmingisraelfrance « At least 44 French companies are involved in the arms trade with Israel » 🎙 Song “Down by the Riverside (Ain’t Gonna Study War No More)” is an African-American spiritual dating back to before the U.S. Civil War. First published in Plantation Melodies (1918), it later became a major anti-war protest song, especially during the Vietnam War, thanks to its powerful pacifist message. Interpreted by (among others): Fisk University Jubilee Singers (first recording, 1920s), Sister Rosetta Tharpe (1944), Pete Seeger (1950), Mahalia Jackson (1954), Odetta (1956), Etta James (1982), Louis Armstrong (1956), Joan Baez (1962), Ella Fitzgerald (1962), Elvis Presley (1967), Johnny Cash (1975), B.B.
