My middle school Sewing/Fashion Design class had their end of the semester fashion show. The outfits they made and wore were made from African Ankara fabric pairs of jeans, demonstrating creative ways to up cycle. We also had a special guest appearance 😂🥰. Needless to say he was a natural and born for this 😂

I bought this thing-a-ma-bob YEARS ago, but as always I get intimidated by new equipment which causes me to delay learning how to use it and actually using it 🫣🤦🏾♀️. My main focus for 2025 was growth, investment, and efficiency! So when I have a uniform order of 25 and 2.5weeks to get it done on top of other client orders, this is a perfect opportunity to put this baby to work. I only cut through 6 layers this go round because I have nervous about messing up but it’s so smooth! As a fellow WRC alum, I wanted this design to carry the spirit and legacy of our sisterhood. I incorporated elements true to the traditional WRC uniform style — from the classic lines to the precise rhinestone placement — and added a special homage to our legacy: the Feathered “R” icon on her shorts, revealed only when she turns. A subtle but powerful reminder that WRC will forever live on at the core. ♥️💛

As I embark upon this year’s uniform season, I just want to give thanks to the most high for not only keeping this thang going but enabling me the opportunity to grow and invest in my business. My mindset for 2025 was focused on Growth and Efficiency, and day by day God is making the way. I’m so excited to have machines that not only can handle the demand, but has expedited production exponentially. These machines sew 3000-4000 stitches per minute and what one felt grueling now feels effortlessly smooth.
