The Family. K8 RBNM 3 is out today. 
Our eighth album. Releases are always inexplicably emotional. Can’t imagine a single word to describe any of these emotions but thank you all for riding along with us as we go. 
This record is a deep one. Maybe the deepest one we’ve made to date as far as the hearts concerned. It’s fitting it comes now in these profoundly strange times. There is a tiny part of me that wishes these 8 songs weren’t first hand experiences but that’s part of the fun. We hope everyone is moved by this one in whatever way they need to be. We love thank and acknowledge everyone involved in its creation and we’ll leave it there for now.

Rest in peace Grandma. When our list of supporters wasn’t even a list just a couple names yours was one of them. 
Thank you for picking me up as a boy and bringing me to the crib so me and Gene could jam some of the worst songs live from the Eastside porch bedroom. We miss you so much boss lady. But we know you wouldn’t want any boohooing on your account. So we love you & until we meet again… You got those lifetime nose bleed seats in heaven to the next KING show. Love. 2 rockin grandsons

To the greatest woman I’ve ever known: my grandma, my heart, my ride or die, my best friend, and my favorite person. There’s no amount of words I could say that would ever truly feel like enough to describe how much you mean to me. For 40 years you have taught me everything I know about unconditional love, about the importance of family, about doing the right thing, and about being true to myself. There hasn’t been a single endeavor, interest, passion, or even just hobby that I’ve taken up that you weren’t 100% supportive of, even if you didn’t wholly agree with my choices. You always knew what was best for me, but always respected that it was my choice to make for myself and you would always love me no matter what. It’s because of that love that I’ve always been afraid to let you down, and I’ve always been afraid to lose you. So much of what I do every day in my life is tied to you. I’m a gamer because you bought me an NES when I was 4 and would play Mario every day with me. I remember how excited we were to finally beat the first world, only to find out the princess was in another castle and there was still many more levels to go. When I wanted to play hockey you showed up. Every game. Even some drop-ins. Any chance you could get to watch me play. I could always hear your voice above everyone else’s in the crowd. I play music because you bought me my first guitar. Drove me downtown to go to local shows. Picked up my friends so we could make noise in your house. Because when I said I wanted to quit college to travel the world you had my back. I wouldn’t be where I am today if not for you. You are engrained in the very essence of my being. And I hate having to live in a world that doesn’t have you in it. But you have become such a fixture in every aspect of my life that I can’t not feel you around me at all times. Even as I type this I know you are with me, making sure I’m ok, being my rock as you have been all these years. You’ve always been so proud, and I hope you know how proud I’ve been to have you as a grandma. I know I couldn’t keep you forever, but everything I do in this life, I’m going to carry you with me. 🖤

Happy Friday the 13th one and all ! It’s not the tragic 13th of October whereabouts a most dubiously named Philip “the fair” of France decided to kill a bunch of Templars instead of repaying his massive debt to them. No, It’s just a regular ol’ FEB FRI 13th but happy nonetheless. We have a new song out. Go scream into the abyss all of your opinions about it good and bad.

Ladies and gentlemen, we return to our regular scheduled programming. The band called KING has just dropped the first single from their upcoming album K8. GOOFER DUST. This will be their third album in 12 months. This album was also recorded in front of a live studio audience without click tracks, programming, overdubbing, punching in etc etc. We think everyone involved, especially those who attended and made this possible. Let’s spin this one today then.
