Ruarai AA Washed 🇰🇪 Our first new season Kenyan release comes from Nyeri, on the western slopes of Mount Kenya. This is a region known for producing some of the world’s most expressive coffees. This lot brings together everything we love about washed Kenyan profiles: vibrant acidity, layered sweetness, and clarity in the cup. Expect notes of plum, red currant, and delicate florals with a juicy, structured finish. Produced by around 600 smallholder farmers near the rocky Ruarai River, this coffee reflects both the region’s volcanic terroir and the meticulous processing Kenya is known for. Available online and at our cafe ☕️

Small moments become the ones we remember most. A coffee run with mom. Choosing a bag together. Sitting side by side for a little longer than usual. This Mother’s Day, we’re celebrating the people who shape us with care, patience, and love from the very beginning. 💚 Fittingly, the coffee featured here is Burundi Bavyeyi. “Bavyeyi” meaning “parents” in Kirundi, named in honour of family and the generations behind every cup.

Expect a profile that’s bright and structured, with layered fruit, gentle florals, and a clean, tea-like finish. Everything that makes washed Burundi coffees stand out. Produced by a collective of dedicated farmers, this lot reflects both quality and community at origin. Available at our cafe and online ☕️
