🌸 BPMIX#024: ethernetspirit 🌸 Over the past 4 years, @ethernetspirit has slowly found himself cementing within Denver's club scene as an emergent music knower™, selector, and freak on the floor. His inclinations behind the decks informed by a lifelong captivation with Black electronic music culture, and many years of unrelenting, carpal tunnel-inducing Discogs scrolling. Often swinging slinkily from Detroit techno, Kuduro, Footwork, Electro, Baltimore club and everything in between, the throughline for him always lies with keeping it funky, percussive, and raw.  "This mix I wanted to hit at some more dubby and introspective UK-oriented broken techno and breaks flavors I don't express very often in the clubzone, with a bit of a Detroit connection in there to boot. Many of my peers here in Denver have really opened me up pretty significantly to what bass music can sound like. A lot of the material in this mix is a small lens into what I've come to appreciate from it.
